Taco Pie

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Brown beef on the stovetop.
  2. Drain & add taco seasoning,add 3/4 cup water.Bring to a boil,lower heat & simmer until all liquid is absorbed.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 350°.
  4. Add one tortilla to a 10 inch pan,using a spoon spread refried beans on the tortilla.Now spread salsa on top of the refried beans.Spread beef on top of the salsa.Top with cheese.
  5. Add another tortilla to the pan on top of the 1st one.Repeat the layers until all the tortillas are used.(Save about 1 cup of beef for the last step).
  6. Crush tortilla chips,arrange them around the outside of the tortillas until the pan is full.
  7. Top the outer edge with the leftover beef,now top with plenty of cheese.
  8. Cover & Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven,top with shredded lettuce,diced tomatoes & taco sauce.
  10. Cut into 8 pieces like a pie & serve with sour cream on top.
